Jorge Gonzalez, Trustee

Mr. Gonzalez currently serves on Boards of Florida State University, The St. Joe Community Foundation and The St. Joe Company. He has previously served on various community boards and organizations, including as the Chairman of the Bay County Economic Development Alliance, the Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center Board of Directors, the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Florida Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and Enterprise Florida. Mr. Gonzalez has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Florida State University and serves as President and CEO of The St. Joe Company.

Rhea Goff, Trustee

Ms. Goff currently serves on the Boards of The St. Joe Community Foundation, Florida’s Great Northwest, Florida’s Great Northwest Foundation, Northwest Florida State College, the Florida Commission on Community Service, Walton County School District Business Advisory Board, and The St. Joe Company. She has previously served on the Boards of Seaside Neighborhood School, Seaside School Foundation, and the Bay County Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Goff earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 2001 and serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of The St. Joe Company.

Elizabeth J. Walters, Trustee

Ms. Walters currently serves as Vice Chair of the Panama City Port Authority, the Boards of Impact 100 Gulf Coast, The St. Joe Community Foundation, Alignment Bay County and as a member of the Bay Defense Alliance and the FSU Panama City Dean’s Council. She has previously served as Chair of The Florida Board of Bar Examiners, Bay Economic Development Alliance, the Bay County Chamber of Commerce, the Military Affairs Committee, Ascension Sacred Heart Bay, Panama City Port Authority and the Boards of the Florida State University Foundation, the FSU Real Estate Center, and Summit Bank, N.A. Ms. Walters holds a BA and an MA from The University of West Florida and a JD with honors from The Florida State University College of Law. She serves at Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of The St. Joe Company.

April Wilkes

Executive Director, The St. Joe Community Foundation

Ms. April Wilkes has served in various capacities for The St. Joe Company since 2001. In early 2018, April was presented with an opportunity to make a significant change from her position of Regulatory & Public Affairs Manager to Executive Director of The St. Joe Community Foundation. In her new role, she has led the Foundation’s efforts to enrich the quality of life in Northwest Florida in the areas of Education, Healthcare, Environmental Stewardship and Cultural Arts and led the Foundation’s response to Hurricane Michael, Hurricane Sally and a world-wide pandemic.

Ms. Wilkes holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Husson University in Maine. After relocating to Panama City, Florida in 1999, April married Michael Wilkes, a 3rd generation Bay County native, in 2000. Michael has worked as a lineman for Gulf Power, now Florida Power & Light, since prior to their marriage and they share two daughters, Olivia and Ava Page. Additionally, April has served on the Gulf Coast State College Foundation Board and the Panama City Beach Chamber Board. With her understanding of the community needs and her network of contacts, April is a great resource.
